Final Fantasy 3

Recommendations: Must Have!
Final Fantasy 6 is another of my favorite games. It's simplistic look yet in-depth gameplay and storyline make it a classic worth getting your hands on.
Storyline: 98.5 This game begins with a mysterious girl, whom we do not know even the name of until after some pretty major stuff happens. As it continues, this storyl ine is sure to surprise and captivate.
Battle System: 80.0 Regretfully, the same old FF battle system, which is still fun, but it does get a little old after a few games. One difference from different games in the past is the requirement of battling to recieve your spells, which you don't even get most of until late in the game. Instead of just buying them and being done with it, you truly have to work for each one of them, especially the extremely rare, high level spells(*coughFLAREcough*), which can only be attained from hidden Espers, the source of your magic in this game. Annoying, but I consider it an improvement.
Replayability: 90.5 Of course, replayability depends on the kind of person you are, but for me, the replayability was higher than some, but lower than others. Since the games storyline doesn't change from play to play, it does get boring, but the games length makes up for the lack of variety, making it still fun to play, especially if you missed a rare esper(stupid friggin'...).
Graphics: 89.5 Ahh, the age-old no-mouth-straight-line-eyeball-graphics, classic simple but funny of super nintendo. All things considered, the game had good graphics when it came out, but by today's standards, its just brainless fun.
Sound: 89.5 Ahhh... Age-old midi-mix-up. Gotta love it. While the music may be the old midis, it's high-quality midi, which makes it ok. The music is actually really good and the battle sounds aren't half bad either.
Overall(NOT an average):99 Your probably saying "What! 99 overall! He's nuts!" Well then lock me up and call me Shirley cause I think this game is one of Square's best yet. It's simple yet complex storyline and the choice of around 16 different characters make the game really fun, in my opinion. Whilst many may not agree with me, I find this game to be one of the greats in the RPG world.
Should you get this game: In my opinion, yes. It's a true classic, easiliy better than many others, even newer FF's. One of the few that held to the true meaning of "fantasy", cause afterall, this isn't "Final Sci-Fi." And if you ARE considering getting this game, Square has made your life a whole lot easier with Final Fantasy Anthologies, which has both this game and FF5, another really cool game from the best, Square.
